Why This Sailing is Special
I am delighted to be hosting the AmaWaterways Christmas Markets on the Rhine sailing in December 2027. This festive winter journey will take us through Basel, Strasbourg, Rüdesheim, Cologne, and Amsterdam - each destination beautifully adorned for the season. It is one of my favorite Rhine itineraries, where the river’s beauty rivals any postcard and the towns feel wonderfully timeless. Each day invites you to explore rich culture and old-world charm, and ends perfectly with a glass of local wine as the sun sets behind a castle. It is an ideal journey for those who appreciate elegance, authenticity, and a relaxed, unhurried pace.
