DAY 1 | PORTO
Board AmaSintra in Porto and settle in for the beginning of your Douro River journey.
DAY 2 | RÉGUA
Cruise into the Douro Valley and visit the beautiful Baroque-style Mateus Palace and its celebrated gardens.
DAY 3 | VEGA DE TERRÓN, SPAIN
Explore the fortified hilltop village of Castelo Rodrigo, with a choice of a guided tour or a more active hike, followed by a taste of regional specialties.
DAY 4 | SALAMANCA, SPAIN
Travel to UNESCO-listed Salamanca, known for its golden sandstone architecture. Explore the historic university district, New Cathedral, House of Shells and impressive Plaza Mayor.
DAY 5 | PINHÃO
Spend the day in the heart of Douro wine country, including lunch at Quinta da Avessada and a visit to a local quinta for an authentic Port wine tasting.
DAY 6 | RÉGUA & LAMEGO
Visit historic Lamego and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, with an optional guided hike up its famous staircase. Sample local specialties before enjoying lunch at a traditional quinta.
DAY 7 | PORTO
Return to Porto for a guided exploration of its historic center or an active hike, followed by a Port wine cellar tasting. In the evening, enjoy Porto illuminated from the river.
DAY 8 | PORTO
Disembark AmaSintra and conclude your seven-night Douro River cruise.
